Single-phase sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) test transformer TIOG-100 is designed for testing high-voltage electrical equipment voltage class 10 kV and 35 kV (or higher) using a short-term AC voltage of up to 100 kV at 50 Hz frequency.

Transformer TIOG-100 is designed for use as part of cable test vans, so its structure is resistant to vibrations and varying climatic factors. The transformer is virtually maintenance free.

The standard transformer power output is 17 kVA.

Additionally, the transformer is capable of accommodating a built-in high voltage sulphur hexafluoride capacitor, which, if connected to the appropriate measuring apparatus, allows testing the capacitance of various insulators Cx, dissipation factors tgδ and partial conductive discharges.

The transformer also features an inductive voltage divider (bleeder), which allows measuring high voltage, passed on to the object under the test by the transformer.
