Johansson-Type DCC
Monochromatic WDXRF using double curved crystal optics has the advantage of very high sensitivity for a specific sample element of interest.
The primary Johannson-Type DCC focusing optic captures a narrow bandwidth of X rays from the source and focuses this intense monochromatic beam to a small spot on the sample. The monochromatic primary beam excites the sample and secondary characteristic fluorescence X-rays are emitted.
The second Johannson-Type DCC collects only select characteristic X-ray wavelengths of interest within a narrow bandwidth
XFS (X-Ray Fixed System)
The optics system is carefully adjusted in the factory with special facilities and locked tightly on its proper position.
High precision optics
All core optic units were manufactured with CMC facilities. No moving parts and no slit switching optics in the whole instrument, to ensure the long term reliability.
